TCG Letter #2487

From
Stanley Unwin
To
J.R.R. Tolkien
Date
15 March 1945
Type
Unknown
Transcript
Unknown
Stanley Unwin having seen Leaf by Niggle in the Dublin Review writes to Tolkien to ask if he has other similar stories that GA&U could possibly publish. He includes some comments from his son, who writes children's books as David Severn. David praises the work very highly. David remarks that four similar works would make a small book worth printing. He asks Tolkien if he can borrow Farmer Giles of Ham again, as David would like to read it.
