Ronald Eames writes to Tolkien in reply to Carpenter's Letter #119 (J.R.R. Tolkien to Ronald Eames, 28 February 1949). He will ask Pauline Baynes to return the typescript of Farmer Giles of Ham and will send her the uncorrected copy after he has made certain that it is the correct version for the printers. He will then send that to them.
