TCG Letter #2691

Tolkien sends a new typescript of Farmer Giles of Ham to Ronald Eames at GA&U noting that it is corrected for press. If GA&U do not need it immediately, Tolkien suggests that they send it to Pauline Baynes as it has some revisions, especially some pictorial details that could aid her if she has decided to take up the commission. He also notes that he has an identical text which can be used to produce further typescripts should they be required.
