John Garth has some more information and a picture of the front cover in his blog.

The standard version will have a lower price.

I think the de luxe edition could be signed, due that price.

John Garth's blog doesn't add anything that Pieter hasn't got up at TolkienLibrary: http://www.tolkienlibrary.com/press/1 ... commentary-by-tolkien.php (--for those who haven't read his news piece.)

£20 is also more than I'd expext for the standard Hb, tolkienbrasil. And, for £75, who are you imagining this will be signed by? The cover artist? Certainly not CT...

It seems most unlikely that it would be signed, IMHO.

In tolkienbrasil's original post, are HoME (I, II, III), History of The Hobbit, Chronology and Guide, LOTR Reader's Companion just the traditional HC hardbacks...

...with the dust jackets removed? I didn't expect to see them in the "deluxe" line up as in the photo in the first post of the thread.

No, it's the Deluxe Editions sans slipcases.

I really dislike the green on the reprint Hobbit. I think that is the one volume where the first impression is MUCH better than the reprints.
