Extant copies of Longman's Pleasure in Reading Hobbit
Feb 3, 2016
(edited)
Trotter and myself were discussing estimates of how many copies of the 1968 and 1970 "Pleasure in Reading" Hobbit remain, given that they come up for sale so infrequently. I have suspicion that there might be slightly fewer second impressions than firsts. It appears from this small sample that the number of first and seconds is broadly similar.
