Surely that's $77 overpriced? I'd need to be paid to include that thing in my library. And I have it as it was a gift. It has sat in a box for years.

Yeah, very overpriced. I should move it to the Wonders thread. It is available on Amazon for a few pounds. Such an oddity, where for whatever reason HC followed the studio plans to release the Hobbit as two movies...

In case anyone's curious about the finer details of 2-part Hobbit, it's essentially the paperback that's found in the kids/teens section of a bookstore, as opposed to fantasy; and has the David Wyatt chapter illustrations. One that carries HarperCollins and not Houghton Mifflin, that is.

Definitely a Wonders item, on all fronts. I wonder how CT felt about this little ditty (if he ever knew about it of course). Fortunately it was only a minor misstep but a misstep all the same.
