Up for auction at Ira and Larry Goldberg, Auctioneers in their Collectibles auction on November 14-15, 2020 is a handwritten letter from Tolkien. While not mentioned in Scull & Hammond's Chronology, the letter does make reference to Tolkien being "invited to various parts of the world" - a reference to another letter he wrote on the same day to Cees Ouboter in regards to a forthcoming plan for a trip to Holland.
