Amazon UK. I'd pre-ordered it ages ago.

I was planning - if all things go well for me - to gift myself the deluxe edition. However, having seen how things have turned out for some of the copies shown in this thread I am thinking about getting the German edition. Not trying to sound too patriotic here but I could not - for the live of me - expect the German edition to be that faulty.

P.S. But then, I have been wrong before in my life

P.P.S. Hobbitpresse actually PUBLISHED a video of parts of the printing process!

Hopefully somebody gets both and we see a comparison.

What is the paper quality like (relative to the price, I guess)?

To my untrained touch, the paper in both the standard and deluxe feels and looks the same. I don’t think it’s a bad paper at all. It doesn’t give me the impression it will rip that easily unless you are very heavy handed.
