320 pages maybe for shorter works as in A Tolkien Miscellany.
Wonder what they chose?

I was talking to another member about this earlier and that title came up. I think A Tolkien Miscellany is a strong candidate for what this might be, if it's not a false listing.

If the US and UK books are the same title then I doubt very much it would be A Tolkien Miscellany. I can't see HarperCollins releasing something like that given they released Tales from the Perilous Realm again recently which contains four of the titles, plus Sir Gawain was released not too long ago in the deluxe edition. That would be a really odd release to be honest given that there would be nothing to market.

Most of HC's upcoming Tolkien books have continuous ISBNs. To find out them you need calculate the last check digit of ISBN with this tool http://www.hahnlibrary.net/libraries/isbncalc.html Then you can google the ISBN or put it into the URL of amazon to find out which book it is.
Here are the results:

9780008537722 I tie-in
9780008537739 II tie-in
9780008537746 III tie-in
9780008537753 LOTR tie-in box
9780008537760 LOTR tie-in 1 vol
9780008537777 I tie-in
9780008537784 II tie-in
9780008537791 III tie-in
9780008537807 LOTR tie-in box
9780008537814 Complete Guide to Middle-earth
9780008537821 Complete Guide to Middle-earth deluxe
9780008537838 Tolkien Anthology
9780008537845 Tolkien Anthology deluxe
9780008537852 ??
9780008537869 ??
9780008537876 ??
9780008537883 ??
9780008537890 Silmarillion
9780008537906 Silmarillion deluxe

9780008537913 onwards are books on other topics. There are still four ISBNs in between, we'll see if they are also Tolkien books.

So 9780008537852 turns out to be UK version of The Tolkien Collection, list price is £20/$29.99, $10 cheaper than the US version (9780063280687). Current info has no page count. Likely it is a completely different book from Tolkien Anthology.
The rest 3 unknown ISBN would probably be Tolkien books too.

The Tolkien Collection is for the Kindle, possibly The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion as one eBook.

Right not same content as Miscellany. Though the hardback Collection 9780063280687 is listed at 320 pages. Just a place holder nymber? What did they collect?

Weird, some sites now rename Tolkien Anthology (9780008537838, 9780008537845) to The Tolkien Collection. Not sure if this is a mistake. Meanwhile, 9780008537876 turns out to be The Tolkien Collection CD-Audio. So 9780008537869 is likely yet another format of The Tolkien Collection.
Therefore we might have 5 formats of UK The Tolkien Collection: hardcover, delux, ebook, ?, audio book. (6 if 9780008537883 is also The Tolkien Collection)

That it has a deluxe listed at £75 makes me think this matches the rest of the deluxe series, so it is most likely not anything contained in those released so far. If it were Nature of Middle-earth it would be listed as such, and they released that in the newer deluxe series anyway.

My bet (guesswork obviously) is that it is The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien and the page count is off. It has not received much fanfair from HarperCollins and if I am not mistaken they have never released a hardcover edition.

On Amazon.co.uk it says it’s a special edition, not deluxe.
The new Silmarillion is also a special edition, so it might match that one.
It might be a combo of The Hobbit and maybe a few of the others so it’s worth making a special edition out of it. And reaching 400 pages.

I didn't see previously that when one scrolls down the page, Brian Sibley has a "about the author" details.
