thank you so much, great read! seems like there is no definitive answer yet when it comes to whether she had any input with the frontispieces (other than the pyre of denethor you mentioned in the paper), even though the frontispieces are probably the most famous illustrations from this edition, especially the Nazgul.
by the way, were there any non-lotr Tolkien pieces at the exhibition? such as this painting of Hurin and Morwen that the Queen showed in this documentary:
