Quick overview of the 3rd French edition of The Atlas of Middle-earth by K.W. Fonstad.
It now appears that these cards, redrawn by S. Arson for the French edition, are sold by Bragelonne, with the agreement of Harper Collins, when foreign publishers wish to purchase the rights to produce new translations.

Thanks! Interesting to hear that they will be offering these redrawn maps for other publishers now. I haven't gone through carefully to comare to Fonstad's maps, but they are beautiful and I hope they get selected my more publishers.

I have selected 9 pairs of maps with significant differences here: https://weibo.com/5760963846/Q5LKBfPTT

To be even more precise, I should have pointed out that the maps had already been used in several recent translations, particularly the Brazilian version, which came out shortly after the French edition, but also others since then (if anyone here is interested, I can find out which ones, but I need to check first because I'm not entirely sure and dont want to say something incorrect).
