I am going to start putting interesting eBay auctions I run across (separate from the head scratching thread The Wonders of eBay ) that I think are interesting or worth a look. Feel free to add your own, or add commentary on anything posted here. I am not the seller or affiliated with any of these sellers, by default.

I don't recall if anyone knew whether this went into another printing or not (i.e. if there is more than one impression out there) --but one of these sold for £122 a few months back. Nuts price in my opinion. Here's one for a good price...

The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien (Hardback, 2007)

Buy-It-Now £40
End Date: 21 Mar, 2012 12:20:53 GMT

Actually, I've no clue as to whether some might view this as a "Wonders" item. Anyway, in flagrant breach of copyright I would suggest...

I like this thread. Here are a few I've found:

eBay Item #330700645595

This one doesn't come up on eBay too often.

eBay Item #290683290067

I think this is a decent price, but the rest of you would probably know better.

eBay Item #251016773126

Very rough condition.

Re the Return of king mentioend above by Son of Dolf I have just noticed it has no front flap.

Did all the second impression wrappers have this stated on spine? ie is it possible (not saying they have of course) that this could be a second impression wrapper on first impression book?
