The Amz page has The Silmarillion deluxe for £ 39.60 but the preorder link is for the trade 978-0008537890 with no option for the deluxe 9780008537906.

I also see that but I don't get to the standard when I follow the link, just a white screen.

Looking through that page they are not using “deluxe” the way I expect - the LOTR illustrated edition (in white DJ, not red slipcase) is also “deluxe”.

The link goes to the trade (non-slipcased) Silmarillion no problem, for me. I don’t see the slipcased edition in that storefront.

I think you are right and if HarperCollins keep on in that vain they will be calling printouts deluxe before long.

The title of that page is “Explore our deluxe editions” implying that everything on there is “deluxe”. They are using not using deluxe the way HarperCollins does.
