Hi all,

Does anybody on these boards own Klett-Cotta's anniversary volume Das erste Jahrzehnt 1977–1987: Ein Almanach? I am looking for a scan of pages 302-305, containing Tolkien's poem 'The Complaint of Mîm the Dwarf' in German (unpublished in English). If somebody could help me out with this, that'd be very much appreciated!

I was planning on visiting the State Library in Berlin tomorrow and they have a copy in the stacks.

I'll let you know by tomorrow afternoon whether that will work out.

Can you tell me more about this poem ? It's the first time I heard of it, especially as it is unpublished in English.

Druss, you can find more information under the entry The Complaint of Mîm the Dwarf in Hammond and Scull's Reader's Guide. It's a short poem accompanied by a more extensive prose text, both only published in German translation.
