Also wouldn’t pay $1000 for this set. Even if it was all 1sts. Individual copies can be found fairly easily for under $100 each.
Final price (£1207) on these is interesting. They look to be in nice condition, but I thought the final price might be a bit lower given the lack of slipcase.
